Uno de los lugares mas fotografiados de Japón, por su imponente belleza, es un claro y espectacular ejemplo de fusión entre la naturaleza y la mano del hombre.
El jefe guerrero Taira no Kiyomori, construyó la primera Torii de la Bahía en el siglo XII. La estructura actual (1875) tiene unos 16 m de alto y un diseño de cuatro pilares que le proporcionan estabilidad.

One of those things I had aaaaalllways heard about but never truly believed to exist, is the Calico Cat Cafe, which was a very welcomed stop during our 2-week sojourn in Japan. Right when I was missing my own cats so dearly (I just had to include a photo of each of them in this gallery!).

Tokyo is known for its hip, cool, new-age fashion and culture but take a journey into a suburban town just west of Shibuya to see where old meets new in a town molded by narrow and winding streets. The streets are lined by restaurants, bars, and clubs where aspiring musicians take the stage. Here in Shimokitazawa, hard work and endurance are not only seen in the lifestyle and the architecture but it can also be felt in the air.

One of the most photographed places in Japan, this is a clear and spectacular example of the fusion of nature with man’s handy work. The warrior chief Taira no Kivomori, built the first Torii in the 12th century. The current structure (constructed in 1875) measures about 16 metres in height and has a four-pillar structure for stability.
