Hi I'm a Lomo Amigo.
At work, I'm Curator/Manager of Lomography Embassy Hull. I also do other artistic photography projects: Curator PhotoCity London & The HIP Gallery, Creative Director of Hull International Photography Festival (HIPfest), WEA Photography Tutor, Fujiholics Trainer, CEO of Creative & Cultural Co; which includes managing the C&C Photographic Arts Spaces (studios, galleries, photography classes & sales of local artists prints, photo books etc) in Hull UK City Of Culture. I have lots of lovely Lomo cameras inc: Smena 8M, LC-A, Diana F+, Lubitel 166 & Fisheye and I use them for fun and to teach photography. Working in Lomography Embassy Hull is a dream come true, surrounded every day by all the coolest cameras and enthusiastic people. Please pop in when you are in Yorkshire, to see our exhibitions of fabulous analogue work.
I'm currently also in my 15th year as a BBC Presenter/Producer & on-stage photographer for BBC Music, shooting at Leeds Festival, Radio1's Big Weekend etc. I always take a Lomo. I previously produced & location managed for MTV, BBCi & BBC2 and taught Camera Skills for BBC Learn Xpress. I've been a Youth & Community Arts Facilitator since 1992 and experienced Social Enterprise Director & CEO developing sustainable business through communication, partnership and a passion the arts. I develop successful cultural partnerships internationally. A great example of international partnership is, of course, the Lomography Society and I'm proud to be a small part of it.
