Lomowalk in Whanganui

The river city has seen better days and was a former cradle of colonialism. Today Victory Ave has too many vacant shops yet it retains outstanding architectural facades. Even the misspelling of the towns name(Wanganui)has only recently been corrected. My great-grandfather Thomas Brough ran the Railway Hotel in the 1860's so I feel a genetic link towards an under appreciated city.

love the way you made them solid, such a team, a walk into the sun... and all those very muscular bums! ;)

Love the contrast, and shot against the light source. Is this photo of a photo or a poster? (looks like window reflection on the left, and middle bottom looks like your shadow falling on it?)
